Quick troubleshooting and repair guide for a tumble dryer that *is* getting hot and blowing air, but the drum is not rotating.
This specific model is a Beko DRVS73W but most tumble dryers work on the same principle – you are looking for a belt that has either slipped off or broken and you need the number printed on it.
The belt in question here is a 4PHE226 Poly V but obviously that changes from manufacturer to manufacturer. The replacement belt is £12 delivered. Some models say you should replace the metal pulley that the belt mates with at the same time, but if the pulley is in good condition this isn’t always necessary (a kit with both in this case would cost just under £30).
